The Ministry of Labor has revealed that none of the 280 recruitment firms and offices in the country has been given either a four or five-star rating under its new classification system. The ministry posted its ratings, which is from one to five, on its Musaned website recently. It also revealed that it has closed down some offices temporarily.

The ministry stated that it had given 31 offices three stars. According to the information posted online, one company has been suspending in Alkhobar, while 216 offices remain unrated. No companies or offices were rated one, four, or five-star by the ministry.

According to Taiseer Al-Mufrij, the head of the ministry’s media office and Human Resources Development Fund, companies are rated based on four criteria.

“The first relates to the extent of the office’s commitment to rules and regulations, which is determined by the number of violations and adherence to contracts. The second is the quality of service, determined by the average length of recruitment, customer satisfaction level, and the number of recruitment agreements.”

“The third is the extent of the office’s commitment to using modern technology, such as having a website and automated platforms for clients. Finally, the fourth is linked to the company’s Saudization levels, which is most important.”

Rating results indicate that offices and recruitment companies based in Riyadh achieved the highest ratings. In Makkah, only one office received a two-star classification.

In Jeddah, two offices received three-star ratings, with 25 offices remaining unclassified. Only one office received a three-star rating in Taif. Four offices in the Eastern Province were classified as three-star, while 18 remain unrated.

The ministry recently announced its new Musaned service, which was developed to protect the rights of employers and workers. The portal allows parties to identify their rights and responsibilities, starting from the beginning of the recruitment process, until the point of departure.

The portal also allows parties to submit complaints, which are then reviewed by expert committees to resolve differences.
