JEDDAH: Locals still have a chance to perform Haj as registration is still on and will remain open until Dul Hijjah 7 (Sept. 9), but seats are limited.
Mohammed Khalid of the Haj and Umrah Ministry’s call center told Arab News that the low cost and Moyassur services are already full, but seats in the normal and VIP categories A and B are available. “The price per person is between SR8,161 and SR13,000 for VIP services.”
Abdul Rahman, manager of Al-Muqam Al-Saudia Company, said this year’s quota for local pilgrims was almost 200,000, divided among 200 companies and 77 Haj operators.
He said that their company is offering normal Haj packages from SR7,000 to SR11,900, depending on the services required by the pilgrims. “As thousands of people are registering for Haj every hour, and seats are going very fast, it is recommended that those aspirants should register as soon as possible.”
