RIYADH: The Traffic Department has introduced a new electronic service for drivers to get their licenses renewed within 72 hours.
The service was launched six weeks ago and has been used by 5,014 motorists countrywide, with 2,201 applicants from the Riyadh.
The renewed licenses are dispatched through Al-Wasel service. The service saves drivers time. Applicants can pay the fees through accredited banks in the Kingdom. Other requirements will include the possession of a valid ID and registered fingerprints.
