A team from the women’s wing of the Human Rights Commission visited the Makkah Institute of Social Education for Girls on Monday.

The visit was arranged to inspect and monitor the activities and services of the institute provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs to the orphans and people with special needs.

The aim of the institute is to provide a decent life to the orphans and with this in mind the establishment has been allocated specialized committees in psychology.

The team also evaluated the programs of the institution which deal with the various problems faced by the administration.

Jawahir bint Abdulaziz from the Human Rights Commission said that this visit comes as part of the efforts of the women’s wing of the Human Rights Commission for the Makkah region to implement the Plan of the Commission they developed for this year.

Mazin Batterjee, vice president of JCCI and chairman of Al Bir charity, said that the instructions to deal with the orphans and making efforts to give them a secure life was based on the preaching of the Qur’an and the Sunnah. He thanked the Social Affairs Department in Makkah for strictly implementing these instructions and doing everything possible to give a secure life to the orphans of this country and bring them up as a large family.
