The Riyadh Marriott Hotel greets guests and customers on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan with what General Manager Muin Serhan calls as the great art of hosting.

Aside from a “wonderful experience” in terms of food and culture combined to offer something new to its patrons in what it calls as a culinary journey through Arab nation, the hotel has seen to it that hospitality is observed at its best.

“It’s not only shown by our staff — Executive Chef Ashraf Mahdy, Executive Sous Chef Ashraf El-Gabry and Banquet Maitre ‘D Mohammad Riaz — but also by the arrangement of the seats at the hotel lobby,” Serhan said.

He said that the spacious lobby has a place for IT, work area, among others, and that the seats are arranged for families or a group of three or more.

“You can feel the coziness of home while you’re at the lobby seated while waiting for somebody or passing time to relax while imbibing the relaxed ambiance with peace of mind,” he said.

He said the hotel also offers food that’s good for a certain period of time such as five, 10 or 20 minutes.

“These have been conceived in accordance with what Riyadh Marriott Hotel has been known for — service is the ultimate luxury,” he said.

Serhan said: “Every year, Riyadh Marriott is being fancied over eye-catching embellishments to present the chosen theme. Abdullah Abu-El Ghait, director of engineering, and his creative group is the one behind the beautiful Ramadan decorations in the hotel.”

As Riyadh Marriott brings different parts of the region, one will be surprised to see the Pyramids of Egypt, the Petra of Jordan and many more inside this newly-refurbished property.

Two main venues have been allocated for Ramadan, said Serhan.

Mosaid offers traditional Ramadan specialties from all over the Arab world through a widespread and lavish buffet for iftar and sahoor.

A wide range of live cooking stations are also available for guests breaking their fast. Kids playroom, which is adjacent to the restaurant, is open for children to have fun.

“Our iftar and sahoor offerings are priced competitively in the market so everyone can enjoy during this holy month of Ramadan. Additionally, children under 6 years of age accompanied by parents can dine complimentary while kids who are between 6 and 12 get half the price,” he added.

Makarim Convention Center. which won last year’s MENA Travel Awards Best Convention/Conference Center, is allotted for corporate and social groups for iftar parties.

A variety of salad, desserts, Ramadan drinks and live cooking stations are available to accommodate corporate business requirements.

A corporate iftar promotion was also made available for companies that booked prior to June 28, where they can save 10 percent from the total bill and one complimentary for every 10 paid participants.
