At least 11 people died in different parts of the Kingdom in road accidents during the past 24 hours, informed sources said. Five of them including four Pakistanis died as they were traveling from Jeddah to Al-Laith as their pick up vehicle hit a huge truck.

In another crash in Jeddah, two Saudi sisters died. A 40-year-old Pakistani died along Bisha-Raniya Road as a car ran over him. An Arab woman died in Yanbu after the car in which she was traveling with her husband lost control and overturned. Her husband escaped with injuries. Two young Saudis died in Bashair in another road crash.

A police officer in Makkah sustained injuries when his patrol jeep was hit by a driver.
