Russia highly appreciates the current level of bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia the country which is the custodian of the two holy places and the acknowledged leader of the Muslim world. The Russian side thanks the Kingdom’s government for its efforts in organizing such an important annual event for all Muslims as the Haj.

The Russian Embassy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sees the stable economy of the Kingdom and its permanent growth. The implementation of various social and economic programs aimed at keeping the well-being of the Saudi people at a high level inspires respect.

The Russian Embassy is pleased to note boosting bilateral relations between our countries, gained further momentum after the visit of King Abdullah to the Russian Federation in 2003, and the reciprocal visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Kingdom in 2007.
