RIYADH: Saudi Arabia announced seven deaths from COVID-19 and 393 new infections on Wednesday.

Of the new cases, 144 were recorded in Riyadh, 80 in the Eastern Province, 70 in Makkah, 25 in the Northern Borders region, 16 in Hail, 13 in Madinah, six in Jazan, five in Asir and two in Najran.

The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 373,361 after 231 more patients recovered from the virus.

A total of 6,585 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.

The health ministry said more than 2.5 million doses of a coronavirus vaccine had been administered in the Kingdom to date.
