AMMAN: The Saudi National Campaign to support Syrian refugees has distributed aid to 5,739 beneficiaries of 1,014 families in the northern Jordanian governorate of Irbid.
The aids consists of winter items including blankets, sweaters, jackets, caps and other essentials.
Regional director of the Saudi National Campaign Dr. Badr bin Abdul Rahman Al-Samhan stressed that the campaign had also covered a large number of Syrian refugees and displaced families inside Syria.
Al-Samhan pointed out that the work is based on plans prepared in advance, to ensure delivery of relief aid to the greatest possible number of Syrians in need.
“The campaign works to redouble its efforts to achieve the best positive results to protect them from the harsh weather conditions,” he said.
