Riyadh-based Islamic scholar, author and TV host, Mohsin Shaikh Al Hassan, has now finished writing the lyrics of the primary theme song for the GCC soccer tournament which will kick-off in the Saudi capital on Nov. 13.

“The song encourages brotherly competition with the people of Saudi Arabia, and welcomes the GCC teams to the Saudi capital ,” said Al Hassan, also a PR and media specialist.

The song has been recorded and sent to television stations which will play it during the tournament. The singers include Muhammad Al Reem, and rapper 'X and Rock', according to Al-Hassan.
