Over 40,000 visitors have participated in the 8th Alkhobar Youth Forum.

A large number of visitors are arriving from across the region to attend the forum.

During a lecture entitled “Family Problems and Solutions,” Sheikh Saied bin Misfer said the main reason behind the rise of divorce cases in the Kingdom is insufficient awareness between husband and wife.

“Most couples have a very little knowledge of what marriage and family life is about,” he said, adding that there is an urgent need for obligating couples to attend qualifying courses before marriage.

The forum aims to develop “practical motivation skills” among the youth.

During the course, Al-Shahrani, an expert, said that motivation is the “basic engine” that drives individuals to achieve their desires and satisfy themselves through positive changes.

“Self-motivation is intended to overcome challenges as well as to boost morale in all situations, develop innovation and achieve goals,” Al-Shahrani said.

Jameel Al-Anzi, chairman of the accidents department in Alkhobar, said participation in such events educate youth about reasons and causes of traffic accidents.

“We must abide by the rules to reduce traffic accidents and prevent tragedies that result from them,” he said.

No doubt that traffic accidents have become an obsession for many families due to their physical and psychological damages, the traffic officer said.
