Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has ordered emergency aid worth more than SR358 million for poor families in the Kingdom’s northern regions to help them cope with the severely cold winter.

“People receiving social insurance in these regions will benefit from the royal gesture,” said Social Affairs Minister Yousuf Al-Othaimeen adding that “The amount will be deposited in their accounts within 24 hours.”

Al-Othaimeen thanked the king for his humanitarian gesture and praised his willingness to meet the requirements of citizens.
