Rawabi Holding Company and Riyadh National Schools jointly organized an exhibition aimed at discovering students’ skills and talents in Riyadh recently.

The event, which ran for nine days and ended last Friday, was also meant to guide students in choosing their future career based on their hobbies and potential skills thus enabling them to enter the Saudi market.

Hanaa Al-Moaibed, director of Social Responsibility at Rawabi Company, explained that the show was destined for boys and girls in the 16-24 year age range, and aimed to help them discover themselves.

Al-Moaibed added that this exhibition was held in Riyadh in partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), and as an initiative of the education and professional development department at the Ministry of Labor.

Moaibed explained that the exhibition was prepared to receive a total of 6,000 students in the morning and evening, and the visiting students passed through three phases to enable them to discover skills and get a glimpse of the prospects for their future career, with the help of a team comprising more than 50 trained volunteers.

The students, drawn from 140 schools in Riyadh, were nominated to visit the exhibition according to a schedule for each school. This initiative is one of the most important creative works done by the ministry’s development department to encourage students to discover their potentials and abilities geared toward focusing on a career and which will help them in making informed decisions about their future, Al-Moaibed said.
