MADINAH: “The sensation of performing Haj can’t be put into words; it has to be experienced in person,” said Pakistani pilgrim Amir Osman who is here to perform Haj for the fifth time.

“Each Haj has left behind good memories,” said Osman. “Memories that I continue to cherish.”

Over the years, Osman has witnessed the vast expansion projects of the Two Holy Mosques being implemented. “The Kingdom experienced mega developments in all walks of life,” he said, commending the excellent efforts of the government in ensuring a safe and organized Haj for more than two million pilgrims expected to perform Haj this year.

He was particularly impressed by the extent of the improvements at the holy sites, such as Jamarat, Mina and the Grand Mosque expansion.

Osman is currently in Madinah, a place he is more than happy to be at. However, he insists that the greatest pleasure comes “from performing Haj in the current season.”

He has traveled directly from Karachi to Madinah where he intends to offer prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque and visit the historic sites in the city.
