The Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) named Wednesday the 10 winning instructors for the “Ideal Coach” award.

The contest was attended by more than 12,000 trained coaches who work at the organization’s institutes in different regions.

Ali bin Nasser Ghafis, TVTC director, congratulated the winners and the organizers of the awards which have been instituted with the aim of enhancing the skills of the teachers so they can deliver their best.

He also said that the contest has created the best training environment, induced professional responsibility, developed enthusiasm among the trainers to give their best and evoked creative ideas to reach the level of global leadership in the provision of technical and vocational training.

Rashid bin Mohammed Al-Zahrani, deputy director of the TVTC who supervised the contest, gave out medals and winning shields to the award winners.

The winners of the awards were: Coach Aysha Al-Madini from the girls technical institute in Madinah scored first position with a cash award of SR60,000; Nada Yamani girls Technical institute in Riyadh came second winning SR50,000; Ahmed Al Awbathani from Dammam came third and won SR40,000; Faisal Al Mahwas of Hail Technology institute secured thefourth position and won SR35,000; Ayman Mahrooqe from Makkah was fifth with SR30,000; Mohamed Al Bun from Al-Ahsa was sixth and received SR25,000; Ahmed Wahba of Najran came seventh and won SR20,000; Khalid Al Salem from Bisha came in eighth and won SR15,000; Khaled Al-Ghamdi from Taif bagged the ninth position and won SR10,000 while Khaled Al-Sadoun of Riyadh received SR 5,000 for coming in the tenth position.

Al-Zahrani pointed out that the award aimed at spreading awareness about achieving excellence, a model to be emulated by others. So it was important for trainers to be creative, excel in all fields, work at self-advancement and try to improve the level of their performance as well as the work of the organization.
