JEDDAH: The Makkah branch of Technical and Vocational Training Institute observed “Solidarity Day” by honoring retirees, module trainers, coaches and administrators.

More than a hundred coaches and a number of guests and managers attended the program at the headquarters of the secondary industrial institute in Jeddah.

Faisal bin Aqeel, head of TVTC in Makkah, said such a ceremony is held to recognize loyalty and cooperation of the workers toward the TVTC and the Kingdom. “Such events also encourage the employees to give their their best.”

He said the program was an opportunity to show solidarity toward the TVTC and also to appreciate the hard work and loyalty of the retired employees during the training mission. The program was appreciated by everyone, he added.

Those honored included Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, former chairman of Technical Affairs Industrial Institute and head of the services office; Ahmed Omar Awad, former storekeeper at the institute and Mohammed bin Saad Buqami, former supervisor of the Technical College and director of the institute of industrial zone.
