Labor Minister Dr. Mufarrej bin Saad Al-Haqubani , chairman of the ALO board of directors, presented honors and awards yesterday to 22 distinguished Arab leaders during the 43thsession of Arab Labor Organization Conference held in Cairo.

In recognition of outstanding appreciation, Dr. Othman bin Abdullah Al-Tuwaijr received an award in the category of Saudi governments while Eng. Mohamed bin Hamad Al-Mady was rewarded in the category of Saudi employers.

With embarking on longtime career, Al-Tuwaijr assumed the position as director-general of the executive office for the labor and social affairs ministers' council at the Gulf Cooperation Council. Al- Tuwaijr contributed to development of the Arab Labor Organization's systems as well as enhancement of the GCC executive office of the labor and social affairs ministers. In addition, he took part in drafting regulations and laws of ALO committees.

Meanwhile, Al-Mady pegged as one of the most renowned characters was handed out an award in the category of employers and hailed for his tremendous contributions at the regional and international conferences.

The rewarding ceremony was attended by Director General of the Arab Labor Organization (ALO) Fayez Al-Mutairi, Qatari Minister of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs Dr. Issa bin Saad Al-Jafali Al-Nuaimi, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic Affairs for the Arab League Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri and Egyptian Minister of Manpower Mohammed Safan
