A leading Saudi company has brought foreign visas processing services to customers’ doorsteps.
Demand for outsourced visas services has increased thanks to outbound tourist traffic from the Kingdom. In fact, more than 7 million departures were registered from Saudi Arabia in 2010, according to the World Bank. Most embassies in the Kingdom, meanwhile, have outsourced visa services to make visa application more convenient.
VEGA (Modern Traveler Services Company), a pioneer travel concierge services company in the Kingdom that provides a one-stop solution for international travel and visa requirements, has announced huge expansion plans.
Addressing a press conference, Harris Moosa, global business head of VEGA, said that his firm had facilitated the processing of visas following the launch of the company’s online service, www.vega4visa.com.
The VEGA office can revert to applicants to complete the visa application formalities. Even in cases of applicants physical presence is mandatory at embassies or visa application centers for biometric enrolment, Vega can accompany them and assist them to do the documents preparation, he added.
VEGA, a subsidiary of the Jeddah-based TasHeel Group, opened its first visa assistance outlet in Riyadh in January 2012, followed by another center in Jeddah in February 2012.
VEGA went international by opening a Dubai center in August 2012 and extended its presence to Africa by launching three centers in Nigeria during June 2013.
In addition, VEGA stretched its wings within the Kingdom by opening more centers at Alkhobar, Yanbu and Jubail between 2013 and 2014.
