DAMMAM: A wanted terrorist was killed during a gunfight in the town of Al-Qudayh in the Eastern Province on Sunday, police said.

Qatif police received a report that a Saudi man suffered gunshots and was taken to Modhar Dispensary in Al-Qudayh by his brother.

The wounded man was declared dead on arrival at the hospital. He was among the list of 23 most wanted terrorists, police added.

Police identified the terrorist as Mohammed Ali Abdul Rahim Al-Faraj.

His brother provided information to verify Al-Faraj’s identity.

Qatif police have opened an investigation into the case.
