JEDDAH: Water supply to customers will not be disconnected during during eids, official holidays, college and school examinations, the month of Ramadan and Haj season, whatever the reason, said Minister of Water, Environment and Agriculture Abdul Rahman Al-Fadli, according to a website.

The minister made it clear that on such occasions, there would not be a disconnection of water supplies to consumers. The decision is understood to have been taken to increase the satisfaction level of customers.

Al-Fadli said that efforts will be made to improve services for beneficiaries in all areas to ensure their satisfaction. He urged officials of these authorities and organizations to increase their efforts to reach their goals.

After visiting various areas in Jeddah where the ministry’s work is underway, Al-Fadli spoke to the media. He was inspecting these works following the royal order which amended the name of the Ministry of Agriculture to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture.
