RIYADH: The National Center for Assessment in Education (Qiyas) launched recently a website to prepare high school graduates intending to enroll in different universities in the Kingdom.
The website includes academic achievements tests on scientific disciplines for high school graduates intending to enroll in colleges or universities.
“The focus is on test questions about general concepts on biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. The questions are distributed equally among these subjects ,” said Ibrahim Rasheed, director of Communications and Media Relations Center of Qiyas.
He added: “There are also questions that require application as well as conclusion among the students taking the tests.”
He added that the nature of achievement test questions “vary in terms of the nature of their focus on cognitive levels. There are a number of questions that require comprehension.”
Rasheed said that the tests will be held for the second time for high school graduates from May 28 to June 1 in various cities and provinces of the Kingdom.
All applicants intending to take the tests are urged to prepare well and see the tariff and guidance materials provided in the website, he said.
He added that students are urged to be early or on time in entering the training site for purposes of raising their psychological and cognitive levels.
He added that everyone should adhere to the terms of identity proof when entering the smart cards issued by Qiyas for female applicants in all regions of the Kingdom.
He added that the website has three sections. The first section is on scientific concepts (in mathematics, chemistry, biology, and physics), designed in an appealing and interactive way.
The second one shows examples of training modules and the third section contains experimental tests.
