MADINAH: “I considered it a lifelong dream,” said Indian pilgrim Bashir Ahmad who is in the Kingdom to perform his first Haj.

Ahmad has completed an Umrah in Makkah and is currently in Madinah, a place he claims “has a special place in the hearts of Muslims around the world.”

He commended the city’s infrastructure, claiming it to be “one of the most progressive” cities he’s ever visited.

Ahmad expressed his admiration of the services and efforts the government has provided for the convenience of the pilgrims, under the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman.

“The expansion projects of the mosque is on a grand scale,” said the pilgrim about the ongoing constructions on the Two Holy Mosques.

Ahmad has visited the historic sites in Madinah, including mosques and sites of wars fought by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He intends to continue offering prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque until the beginning of the Haj season.
