The Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry recently held a career path workshop for females which will provide about 500 jobs for qualified Saudi women in a number of sectors in the holy city with the support of the Human Resource Development Fund and Taqat program.

The job opportunities include doctors’ assistants, nurses, dentist nurses, laboratory specialist, nutrition, saleswomen, cashiers, receptionists, call center employees, secretaries and production line workers and a number of other specialties.

Hassan Kansara, member of Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industries and the supervisor of the Career Path workshop, said the salaries allocated for the announced jobs range from SR3,000 to SR5,000.

He said personal interviews will be done at the chamber’s headquarters from 5 in the afternoon to nine in the evening.

He said some of the job requirements require the applicant to have medium or secondary education certificate, heath diploma or BA, and no past work experience is required.
