DAMMAM: Aims Bin Delamah, SST, Alsaudi and Delamah Adpco entered the finals of the EPCA T20 Challenge Cup Cricket Tournament, sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center.

In the Premier Division final, Aims Bin Delamah will meet SST while Alsaudi takes on Delamah Adpco in the First Division final.

In the Premier Division semifinal Aims Bin Delamah defeated Alghamdi Cricket Club by 4 wickets.

Earlier, Alghamdi batting first, made 158-7 off 20 overs. Raza Abbas fought a lone battle and scored a stubborn 37. Amir Sohail was the best among the Aim Bin Delamah bowlers as he claimed 2 for 21 off his 4 overs.

Chasing the target, ABDs’ openers gave their team bright start. Amir Sohail was in good form as he scored a magnificent 50. He was well supported by Waseem Malik who scored 44 valuable runs as Aims Bin Delamah reached 159 for six in 19 overs.

In another semifinal, SST Cricket Club defeated Altuwairqui White by 23 runs. SST made first use of the pitch and put up a competitive 170 for 8 of the allotted 20 overs. Farraz smashed 69 off 42 balls, with nine fours and one six. Ayub was the successful bowler as he claimed 3 for 36 runs.

In reply, Altuwairqui White got off to a bad start as they lost their openers cheaply. Rizwan Qayyum tried to salvage the innings, but wickets kept falling at the other end. Altuwairqui White folded for 147 runs. Thanks to good bowling by Imran Farooqui 3-20 and Nasir Khan 3-30.

In the first division semifinal matches, Delamah Adpco Cricket Club ousted Harley Davidson Cricket Club by 4 wickets. Harley Davidson batted first and scored 187 for 5 wickets. Gulam Mustafa struck 88 as he belted nine fours and four sixes while Tajmul Hayat scored 33.

Chasing the big score, Delamah Adpco openers gave their team bright start. Hashim Ali Sawati was in top form as is 63 off 31 balls included seven sixes and two fours.

In the other semifinal, Pak-Saudi Cricket Club got the better of Gyptech Dolphin by 24 runs. Batting first, Pak-Saudi posted 196 for 5. Shafiq’s (69) and Imran Arif (51) were the main scorers. Muneeb captured 3 for 29 runs. Defending the target, Pak-Saudi restricted their opponents to 172 runs. Salman (51) and Shiraz Farooqui (47) did their best for Gyptech Dolphin.
