Airport Eleven and Medina Diamonds reached the final of 2nd MCA Natco Cup cricket tournament following victories over separate semifinal opponents at the weekend.

This tournament is organized under the auspices of Medina Cricket Association in cooperation with Natco Jeddah.

Airport Eleven proved much stronger as they beat Pak eagle, the champion for the last four consecutive tournaments. Airport captain Arshed won the toss and decided to bat. Zakir contributed 29 runs, Amir 22, Shoeb 21 and Qaiser 21 in getting the total of 163 in the allotted 20 overs. Hafiz Imtiaz was the only successful bowler from Pak Eagle who got four wickets in his quota of four over.

Chasing the target, the four-time winner Pak Eagle bundled out only for 124 runs.

Asif put some resistance and scored 27 runs. Sharafat supported with 20 and Fayyaz with 17. Amir and Moin from Airport Eleven each got three wickets. Asif and Sajjad from Pepsi Eleven supervised the first semifinal.

The second semifinal was between United Stars and Medina Diamonds, with the latter winning.

Batting first, Medina Diamond scored 155 runs. Faisal scored 26, Ali Shair 19 and Qayum 19. United Stars bowler Eid Khan got three wickets while Basharat and Hammad each took two.

In reply, United Stars failed to achieve the target and were all out for only 121 runs. Hammad and Imran scored 26 and 25 runs respectively. From Medina Diamonds, Qayum captured three wickets. Shoeb and Imran shared four wickets equally. Zohaib and Mustafa from Friends Eleven officiated the second semifinal.
