JEDDAH: AJA XI and Old Students ended their MCH League match in a tie thanks to a stupendous effort in the field by Dr. Abdulrehman Mussarat Khalil, the only Saudi national playing in JCA who rocked the lower order of Old Students taking a magical figures 5 wickets for 27 runs in a fine spell of medium fast bowling in the 3rd week matches of the MCH League.

The tournament is sponsored by My Care Hala and organized by Jeddah Cricket Association-JCA. In the other match of the week, Hala International School narrowly beat Peeran Warriors by just 11 runs.

AJA-XI vs. Old Students — match ended in draw:

AJA-XI scored 174 for 8 in 20 overs with Umar scoring 40 (5 fours. Shahid scored 25 while Imran kept one end up with an unbeaten 58 runs inclusive of 5 fours and 1 six. Asif, Amanullah and Yasir took a wicket each. In reply, Old Students were all out 174 in 19.3 overs with Munawar (53), Amanullah (36) and Tariq scoring 24 runs, Saudi cricketer Khalil ran through their batting with a fine spell of medium pace bowling taking a magical figures of 5 for 27 while Azhar took 2 for 20.

Hala International School beat Peeran Warriors by 11 runs:

Hala scored 210 for 7 in 20 overs with Tariq Jamal scoring a quick-fire 69 runs (10 fours, 1 six) and was well supported by Zain (26), Mohsin (32) and Zain ul Salikeen 32 runs. Waqas picked up 4 for 26. In reply Peeran Warriors fought valiantly with Hafiz (42), Farooq (47), Imtiaz (41) and Shahid (27) but were eventually restricted to 199 thanks to Safi (3 for 39) and Ahmed (2 for 17), to give Hala International School narrow win by 11 runs.
