JEDDAH: DPS Al-Falah International School defeated Al-Waha International School by 4 wickets while International Indian School Jeddah went down to Pakistan International School Aziziya by 2 wickets in the 2nd week of the Hamid Rasheed Memorial Inter-School Under-19 cricket tourney sponsored and organized by Saudi Cricket Center.

In the first match, Al-Waha batted first against Al-Falah DPS and posted 108 for 7. Thanks to Yasser Alam (26), Mirza Baig (16) and Moiz (22). Sami Munshi claimed 2-15 and Rithik 2-18 were the main wicket takers.

Al Falah DPS in response reached the target of 111 for 6 in 80 balls. Sami Munshi played a stellar in his team’s victory with a compact 42 runs.

In the other match, International Indian School made first use of the track managed 127 for 9. Farhan Patel (41), Yahya (22) and Zahid (16) were the main scorers. Khizer grabbed 3 for 18 and Shahzad 2-17 impressed with their bowling.

Pakistan International School Azizya in reply scored 128 for 8 in 118 balls to win by 2 wickets. Hamdan, who was later adjudged Man-of-the-Match hammered 44 with 2 fours and 2 sixes. Iftikhar (21), Hasnain (15), Danial (11) and Shahzad (12 not out) were the other contributors. Umer scalped 2-19 and Yahya 2-21.
