JEDDAH: Al Kabeer Frozen Foods is not about ready to be left out in the cold, reviving its own championship run by winning Team of the Week honors and jumping two places to second in the team standings during the 10th session in the Thursday League 16th Season for Sarawat Superstores Cup at the Bowling City here.
The session ended with Al Kabeer toting the top tally of 31 points while Casadores were two points further back on 29.
AL Striker returned 26 points in third place on the night, followed by Jem Striker 22, Sarawat Superstores 19, Al Murjana 18 and Salam Rice 15. D’ Barkads and Habagat brought up the rear on 14 and 6 respectively.
To Gerry Lim of AL Striker went the individual Bowler of the Week award on 666 on lines of 172, 213 and 191.
Al Kabeer took the first game and never went below third the rest of the way in a sustained display that Nanding Siasoco led on 625. Backing up Siasoco were Rally Zamora 599, Jhune Estefano 597, Jowett Carrion 256-196, Bandr Al Dossary 225-191 and Rommel Agbayani 161-203.
Casadores whose back-and-forth with D’ Barkads for the lead had been interrupted by current leader Al Murjana drew solid numbers from the quartet of Fadi Al Hadad 649, Ruben Grino 637, Ding dela Rosa 631, and Nezar Al Hamwe 624. The remaining three games were shared by Tope Sayson 203-179 and Nawaf Del Monte 181.
In addition to Lim the other scorers at AL Striker were Jack Jarin 641, Bonnie Garcia 588, Cesar Monares 192-204, Ally Bin 170-161 and Phepz Niere 171-168.
Over at Jem it was Paolo Allego that struck hardest, rolling the second highest score of 663 on lines of 207, 255 and 201 that went with the 617 by Philip Raymundo, 602 by Jeff San Pedro and 588 by Efren San Pedro. Richard Junio had two games of 178-181 and Mike Tambasin added 165.

Meantime, the FTBJ-ICBL 36th Conference is suspended to give way to the FTBJ Monthly Finals for June which takes place Friday afternoon, according to organizers.
