JEDDAH: Al Naghi of Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Wahab Naghi and Sons Co. defeated BMW 88-55 to be crowned champions in the JBL 4th MYN Basketball championships at the Ahmed Mohammed Abdul Wahab Naghi Sports Complex in Ash Shati District here in Jeddah.

Al Naghi played running game to tear down BMW offense. The plan paid well as BMW starting to feel exhausted in the final quarter and missed important baskets. Nanding Unas scored 17 points for Al Naghi and was adjudged as the Lifestylez best player of the game while Eric Natividad top score with 15 points for BMW.

The awardees in the 4th MYN Division are Al Naghi (Regie Maga): Champion, BMW (Sherwin Cabading): 1st Runner-up, Hyundai Castrol (Dennis Elmenzo): 2nd Runner-up and Fuddruckers (Elmer delos Santos): 3rd Runner-up. The elite first mythical five best players are Eric Natividad – Best Center (BMW), Adrian Bulacan – Best Forward (Al Naghi), Rogelio Seguis – Best Forward (BMW), Jonash Armintia – Best Guard (Al Naghi) and Abdulbarie Malik – Best Guard (Hyundai Castrol). The second mythical five best players are Reynald Dela Cuesta – Best Center (Fuddruckers), Joebert Recayo – Best Forward (United Naghi), Dennis Elmenzo – Best Forward (Hyundai Castrol), Paul Brian Cruz – Best Guard (Jaguar) and Greg Sabang – Best Guard (Fuddruckers). Most Improved Player award goes to Abdullah Ramadan (Hyundai Castrol) and Best Sportsmanship Award went to Fernando Malit (Al Naghi).

Baloloy Rojo of Al Naghi was awarded as the Best Coach of the tournament while Nanding Unas (Al Naghi) was adjudged as the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
