During the Sept. 13 matches of the Al Rabie – IBG Friday Afternoon Bowling League 3rd Conference unstoppable Zezo and the prolific Stephen Ajera emerged the Week’s Best Team and Best Bowler honorees respectively.

Al-Rabie Saudi Food Industries Co. Ltd. is the sole sponsor of the league supported by Thales. Itqan Bowlers Group (IBG) through its IBG Advocate Ian Choco organized the event played Fridays at the Universal Bowling Center (UBC).

Scientific Fhel Ramos and the hard-hitting Jess Ambon provided firepower in Zezo’s 21-16 thrashing of Itqan Tenpin Wizards. Ramos and Ambon led Zezo by posting separate series of 807 and 806. Likewise, splendid support came from Danny Trinidad (799), Cas Encila (790), Ed Cruz (458) and Danny Francisco (406). Zezo posted total team output of 4,066.

For Itqan Wizards Fathi Abdulaziz returned the top score of 896. Coming in next to Abdulaziz were Fareed Aquino (795), Doy del Moral (765), Thong Asuncion (757) and team mentor Ric Singson (755). Itqan Tenpin Wizards submitted total team output of 3,968.

With top individual performer Ajera in charge, league No. 1 Saco dismantled Magnificent-5 squad, 20-16. Ajera shot a towering four-game series scratch of 908 on lines of 234, 226, 212 and 236. Fernie Ballano followed Ajera by knocking down 831 points with Joel Batolina on 748 points. George Sto. Domingo had 593 while Jun Sebastian and Jim dela Rosa added separate series of 399 and 375. Buddy Balisi shared 200 in one game.

In another pair of lanes, Dabarkads edged My Girl, 20-18 with the duo of Glen Mar dela Cruz and Jude Lazano shooting separate four game series handicap of 871 and 833. The troika of Ramil Glorioso, Charlie Cheng and Obet Miranda added 783, 778 and 761.

For My Girl , the leading scorers were Leo Mabunga (878), Archie Oliva (855) and Joel Lambo (852). Larry Mondoy and Ric Dimapilis chipped in 785 and 784.

Angel Vipers upset heavy favorite Thales 19-18 behind the sterling performances of Shawn Rickett (865), Angel Caasi (859), James Boyd (832) and Koko Torres (827).

At the forefront of the dismayed Thales team is the tandem of Jau Urbano (866) and Andro Tismo (825).

Meanwhile, Noli Ritual, founder and former chairman of the FBGR, would like to extend his congratulations to the new set of FBGR-New Generation Officers for staging the FBGR 7th Anniversary Bowling Tournament this Friday at the Universal Bowling Center.
