Qaiser Muqeem’s five wicket haul was too much for Marooj Rawan’s batting line-up as Gulf Steel CC got better of Marooj Rawan CC. Gulf Steel 244 runs (Qaiser Muqeem 48, Imran CH & Shahid Siddiqui 3 wickets) beat Marooj Rawan 206 (Waheed Malik 85) by 39 runs.

Scintillating century by Akhtar Mahmood and half centuries by Munawar and N Kartik guided AlDossary to a comfortable win over Pak Saudi. In the first division matches, Bin Delamah Adpco CC broke the EPCA 40 overs league record for the highest total 440 in their match against DHL Express CC. Nabil Butt led the way with a turbo-charged 189 off 120 balls (11 sixes and 19 fours) while Sadiq Rafiq scored a blistering knock of 105 off 63 balls (4 sixes and 18 fours) beat DHL CC 262 for 7 (Kashan Raheel 72, Mehboob Karim 46, Imran Noor 3 wickets) by 178 runs.

Al-Bawardi CC beat the reigning T20 champions AMPS Friends XI by 4 wickets. In the biggest upset of the day Al-Bawardi bundled out AMPS Friends for 205 (Shakeel 48, Parvez Khan 4 wickets) and comfortably achieved the target, Basheer Irshad 42 top-scored from Al-Bawardi.

Khobar Badshah’s got the better of Royal Kashmir CC by 8 wickets. Kashif Ashraf missed his century by 9 runs. Royal Kashmir CC 231 (Arif 54, Feroz 48 & Mohammed Atif 59) lost to Khobar Badshah 234 for 2 (Kashif Ashraf 91, Saad Khan 44 & Raja Shafqat Ali 62 not out).

Adnan Khan’s four wicket haul helped Gladiators CC start their campaign this season with an easy win over Kashmir XI. Gladiators CC 251 (Wasim Riaz 52, Mubin Feroz 57, Ijaz 3 wickets) beat Kashmir XI 154 by 97 runs.
