Alinma Bank team mentored by ITBR Chairman Bobby Ting snatched No. 1 in the team standings after clinching its third Team of the Week honors during the 5th week in the InterBank Tenpin Bowling League at Universal Bowling Center here.

Rainier Torres and Angel Train produced excellent games to finish on 849 and 844 as Alinma brought down BSF-CBG in four games 513-110 points. They were assisted by Abdulrahman Ahmed on 585 in three games, while Julius Alfonso, Willie Bondoc, Lito Tolentino, and Vic Agregado toppled 410, 379,334 and 319. Ting added 138.

In BSF-CBG, the trio of Abet Minosa, Guilbert Masias and captain Ken Hechanova inspired their team to score bonus points in the first and third rounds of 805, 730 and 726 four-game series. Former champion Saudi Hollandi Bank was the second-best points getter as it demolished defending champion Shabab SABB in four games 365-143. Straight bowler Gerry Ayonon grabbed Bowler of the Week honors after shooting the high series of 862. Backing up Ayonon were Jil Hembra (767), Clem Salazar (748) and Arnel Bernabe (699). Captain Greg Antonio rolled 549 while Val Baraquio contributed 150.

The five-man team of Shabab SABB suffered its first loss of the season but managed to earn 143 bonus points and not go home empty handed. Rey Bautista was the top scorer on 746 followed by Edwin Nunez (734), Jaffer Al Kathiri (733), Arnold Jesena (710) and Luis Bonguit (697).

Banque Saudi Fransi blanked Saudi Investment Bank 314-0 to keep second spot behind Alinma. AJ Bonifacio and captain Jun Bantug led their team to victory on 722 and 700. Noel Morales added 542 while Yusuf Fernandez, Dawood Sereno, Joseph Adao and Edwin Timango rolled 399, 372, 358 and 356 Angel Diaz Jr had 158.

Captain Dong Calub top-scored in SAIB on 765, with Jonathan Avenido, veteran Joey Salem and Gil Catulay carding 511, 495 and 410. Renato Torres, Eddison Austria and Ric Cura rolled 388, 336 and 293 in two games each.

Riyad Bank kept winning by beating SAMA-Abana 290-50. The pair of Sonny Alviso and Ric Singson sparked their team to victory with 772 and 736. Captain Zohair Oqilan, Mixi Lechuga and Freddie Solomon came through with 599, 559 and 481 while James Frizzle rolled 325 and Ronald Cruz 150.

Consistent Koko Torres was the leading scorer in SAMA-Abana on 773 followed by his father Bernie Torres (708), Jun Macarandan (682) and Clem Guelas (591). Captain Teody Zulaybar and David Smart rolled 345 and 323.
