Alinma Bank won back-to-back Team of the Week awards following another prodigious display in a 23-8 points victory over Die Hard during the 7th session in the Almarai-FBGR Sunday Bowling League 13th Conference at the Universal Bowling Center here.

Almarai Company sponsored the tournament organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

The last session’s Bowler of the Week, Jess Ambon, again took charge for Abdulrahman Ahmed’s Alinma with an 865 that went with the 807 by Fareed Aquino, 755 by Ahmed, 753 by Leo Mabunga and two games each of 385 and 341 from Bernie Torres and George Sto. Domingo.

Ed Cruz 832, Freddie Santiago 797 and Ruby Urrutia 789 were the leading scorers at Die Hard with Vic Barrazona on 697 and Manny Lebrilla 336.

Minions mentored by Dhong Yamco upset fancied Look Up Boys of Ronald Bautista 23-16 with Jao Urbano delivering a Bowler of the Week award-winning performance of 922 on lines of 233, 249, 225 and 175.

Urbano got splendid support from KC Enriquez 847, Dee Urbano 831, Shawn Ricketts 758 and Donjie Mapalad 748. Butch Espinosa led the losing team by scoring 887 followed by Edwin Atienza 808, Art Yukong 770, Erwin Nacario 635, Joe Garrido 602 and Ronald Bautista 343.

Almarai Co. mentored by Jhun Daniel beat Sweet Angel Vipers of Angel Caasi 22-15. Leading scorers were Alex Armada 855, Jun Daniel 848, Paul Decena 822, Fhel Ramos 810 and Doy Del Moral 708. The losing team had Koko Torres on 907, Nelson Respicio 816, Angel Caasi 771, Ruel Pingol 761 and Jun Balubayan 730.

United Global guided by Jeff Nierva smashed IBG Storm of Ric Singson 22-11. The winning team’s scorers were Erwin Atienza 865, Jeffrey Sobrebiga 803, Jeff Nierva 795, Romy Repia 624, Joelito Santillan 454 and Sam Dotingco 381. Marvin Arocena led the losers on 796. Ian Choco contributed 774, Thong Asuncion 711, Arnold Jesena 699, Ric Singson 414 and Rey Bautista 391.

In other matches, RG512 captained by Yasser Mohamed blanked FBGR Selection of Mike Ecalnir 20-3, Nadec Strokers of Lope Ramirez beat Alsalam Knights of Bandar Al-Marshad 21-14 and Thales of Ryan Iñigo upset Carry Over of Lulu Quejada 21-10.
