RIAYDH: King Faisal Specialists Hospital Blues, Pak Shaheen, Pak Force, Fonte Star, Thales, Pak Eagles, Abana and Seham made it to the finals of the American Express Twenty20 cricket tournament organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association.

In the first Al-Kharaj League semifinal, KFSH Blues got the better of Shouraim by 5 wickets.

Shouraim made first use of the track and posted 197 for 7. Mudassad top-scored with 51 runs. Later, Zeeshan propped up the inning with a well-made 39. Iftikhar was the pick of the bowlers and claimed 3 wickets while Usman got 2.

In reply, KFSH Blues chased down the target in 18 overs. Nasir Abbasi blasted a quick 45 and Nadeem Babar gave good support with a crucial 32 runs. However, it was Imtiaz’s 53 who gave the finishing touches, which helped his team enter the final. Faisal took 2 wickets.

In other semifinal, CKK lost to Pak Shaheen by 4 wickets. CKK were all out for 147 runs. Abuzar grabbed 3 wickets while Faisal and Abdul Waheed took 2 wickets each. Pak Shaheen got to the target in 16.4 overs. Waheed (54), Ateeq (40) and Wahab (23) steered their team into the final.
