JEDDAH: After seven weeks and 60 matches of sheer entertainment, the fourth season of Ford Jeddah Champions Trophy Cricket tournament, which started off with 32 teams has reached the semifinals stage.

In the quarterfinals Azizia Deccan and Hyderabad Royals routed their opponents Kings XI Hyderabad and BWC KKR by 44 and 30 runs respectively the other two matches could have gone either way.

Etihad Jeddah beat Kako by 2 runs while Jeddah Warriors edged past Kokan XI by 6 runs.

The tournament, sponsored by Ford-Al Jazirah vehicles and co-sponsored by SBL Trading, Powerbar and Empower Contracting, started off on Nov. 7th at Sulemania grounds here.

After some great performances in the league and Super 16 round, the Super 8 knockout matches witnessed some of the best performances of the tournament.

Jeddah Warriors CC 96 for 7 off 15 overs: (Sharaf 28 not out; Nawab 3 for 8) beat Kokan XI 90 off 14.5 overs: (Nawab 17; Naseeb 4 for 13, Sharaf 2 for 8) 6 runs.
