Alex Armada rolled the high series of 939 in a rock-solid display that set up an Almarai double during the 12th week in the Almarai-FBGR Sunday League 13th Conference at the Universal Bowling Centere here.

Almarai Company sponsored the tournament organized by the Filipino Bowling Group of Riyadh (FBGR).

Mentored by Jun Daniel, sponsor team Almarai zeroed current No.1 Team Irene of Dong Yamco 4-0 at 25-12 points to become the Best Team of the Week with Armada as the Best Bowler of the Week with that 939 on lines of 215, 162, 223 and 223 and 29 handicap per game.

Providing Armada a good backup were Fhel Ramos 820, Doy Del Moral 782, Joel Batolina 753, Paul Decena 456 and Daniel 430. The leading scorers at Team Irene were KC Enriquez 848, Shawn Ricketts 808 and Stephen Solomon 729. Lady Dee Urbano added 435, Jao Urbano 411, Vicky Vitug 369 and Donjie Mapalad 324.

Proshop Strikers of Ric Urrutia defeated RG512 for Clothes of Yasser Mohammed 23-11. Freddie Santiago was the Proshop top scorer on 865 with Ed Cruz on 835, Ric Urrutia 737 and Jerry Damiray 751. Manny Lebrilla had 431 and Vic Barrazona 365. Rocky Manipon led the losing team on 802 followed by Edgar Buenaventura 785, Yasser Mohammed 582, Noel Marquez 527, Ahmad Al-Qarquosh 427 and Rasheed Rasheedan 339.

Alsalam Knights mentored by Bandar Al-Marshad brought down Sweet Angel Vipers of Angel Caasi 21-17. Al-Marshad paced his team on 867. Efren Abuyo contributed 800, Rollie Cleofe 781, Alfred Valencia 760 while Lito Vega shot 638 in three games Doughlas Vaughan 219. Ruel Pingol 843, Nelson Respicio 815, Caasi 802, Dawood Sereno and Jun Balubayan 781 points built the Vipers’ total.

In another match, Alinma Bank of Abdulrahman Ahmed upset fancied Look Up Boys captained by Ronald Bautista 21-15. The winning team had Jess Ambon on 879, Abdulrahman Ahmed 828, Jobert Pomado 795, George Sto. Domingo 769 and Leo Mabunga 702 points. Art Yukong 814, Bautista 812, Edwin Atienza 769, Andro Tismo 733, Erwin Nacario 434 and Butch Espinosa 406 were the scorers at Look Up.

In other matches, Carry Over captained by Lulu Quejada beat FBGR Selection of Mike Ecalnir 21-12, United Global of Jeff Nierva demolished Nadec Strokers of Lope Ramirez 23-12 and IBG Storm of Ric Singson walloped Thales of Ryan Iñigo 19-6.
