DAMMAM: Team Honda thrashed Imran Tigers by 394 runs in the Premier Division Cricket League sponsored by Almarkb and organized by the Eastern Province Cricket Association.

The highlight of the match was Mohsin Rajput’s 150 runs for the winning side.

Honda batted first and put up 502 runs from their stipulated 40 overs. Other contributors were, Saad (87), Afaq (75) and Kashif (52)

Imran Tigers failed to make a fight of it and were bundled out for 108 runs. Khawar Abbas took 5 wickets.

In the other matches, Altuwairqi routed Gyptech Dolphins by 67 runs. Altwuwairqi put on board 255. Jawaid (52), Jarnail Singh (51 not out), Waqas Klair (42) and Sheraz (325) were the main run getters. Asif bagged 3 wickets.

In reply Gyptech were bowled out for 188. Zeshan (53) and Ali Iftikhar (49) did their best. Amir Sohail took 3 for 29. Majaz and Jarnail claimed two wickets each.

In the first division league State Friends-XI crushed Team Arabia by 180 runs.

Sate Friends XI openers Abdul Hannan (100) and Murad Khan (56) gave their team a flying start. Later, Abdul Wasey (116) continued from where they left to enable Sate Friends attain 356 runs. Team Arabia was reeling at one stage at 60 for 7. However, the tail propped up the innings and finished for 178 runs. Salman picked 4 wickets and Abdul Kareem 3.

In the other matches, Emerald Ashes beat Kashmir-XI by 153 runs while Al Barwardi cruised past JCI by 110 runs.
