A brand new tournament with a brand new sponsor is scheduled for this Friday at the Dirab Golf & Country Club on the outskirts of Riyadh.

AlNakla Open Golf Tournament 2015, with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m., is the third team competition to take place at Dirab, coming on the heels of Oasis Cup, 3rd Annual CCOR Open Golf Tournament and Riyadh Cup.

As of presstime, 110 golfers and 55 teams have registered for the 2-ball Texas Scramble format event where all participants will each receive a gift pack at the starter booth on tournament day.

Prizes have been scaled down to fifth place with the winning team to receive a complete set of Taylormade irons with Callaway bag. Also up for grabs are fabulous raffle prizes to go with the prizes for longest drive men’s and ladies and closest to the pin unizex.

The tournament is sponsored by AlNakhla Compound marking the first time of its partnership with the club using golf as platform to promote its profile and raise awareness for the brand. The sponsorship was facilitated by Al Nakhla Compound General Manager Hasif Hijazi.
