JEDDAH: ARM United and Pak Shaheen began their quest for the Ace Travel Premier League title with wins over Saudi Oil and MB Stars in the Jeddah Cricket Association organized league.

ARM eased past Saudi Oil by five wickets while Pak Shaheen got the better of MB Stars by four wickets.

The highlight was a superb all-round performance by ARM skipper Nazeer who took 3 wickets and then played up a dazzling knock of 95 runs. Pak Shaheen Usman scored an unbeaten 57 runs.

Pak Young and Kashmir XI had to struggle before over-coming Hyderabad Green and UT Lines by 12 runs and 20 runs respectively.
