Al-QASEEM: Azad XI, Janbaaz XI, Paradise XI and Abottabad XI won their respective matches in the Al-Qaseem Cricket League sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center.

In the first match Azad XI defeated Fateh XI by 6 wickets. Fateh XI batting first mustered up 153 in allotted 20 overs. Waqas 38, Zeeshan 33 and Ashfaq 22 were the run getters. Ahsan claimed 3 wickets while Sajid and Rashid had 2 each. Azad XI in chase got to the victory target of 154 for 4 in 106 balls as Sajid Ali smashed 54 and Kashif 27. Umar got 2 wickets. Ahsan was adjudged Man-of-the-Match.

In the next match Janbaaz XI humbled Sialkot Stallions by 6 wickets. Silakot Stallions used the track first posted 205 for 5 in the allotted overs. Mubashar hit 74 and Mudassir 72. Bilal grabbed 2 wickets. Janbaaz XI in response got to 207 for 4 in 110 balls. Bilal showed the way and made 71 runs. Jibranand Aziz contributed 40 runs each. Bilal was declared the Man-of-the- Match.

Paradise XI had the better of Lahore XI by 4 wickets. Lahore XI batted first and put up 152 runs. Faisal 34 and Aijaz 20 were the main scorers. Saqib scalped 3 wickets. Paradise XI achieved victory and scored 154 for 6 in 98 balls. Jafar for his 54 runs was chosen Man-of-the-Match. Faisal and Nazeer got 2 wickets each.

In the last match of the day Abottabad XI beat Bismillah XI by 20 runs. Abottabad XI opted to bat first piled up 152 for 8. Usman 42 and Haroon 35 scored. Shahid had 2 wickets. Bismillah in reply could not go beyond 132 for 6 in stipulated overs. Rashid 29, Imran 22 and Asif 22 did their best. Afzal and Muntazar took 2 wickets each.
