Aziziah recovered from its previous defeat while Shemesy and Dunes stayed top in the team standings with victories during the 13th week of action in the Siglakas International Riyadh South District Unity Cup Basketball Tournament 2012 at the Dunes Compound Filipino Community court in Olaya Thalateen area here.

Aziziah of Willy Abdon blew away Joffrey Magno’s Roma team 89-46 in a totally lopsided match.

Angel Bautista and Raymond Gile paced Aziziah with 26 and 22 points, with Edison Bien, Arnel Cunanan and Engelbert Josue also contributing in the team’s ho-hum win.

Jay Pangilinan led undermanned Roma with 24 points.

Dunes of James Bugawisan improved its record to 4-1 beating Khazzan 59-46 in a low scoring game.

From a 28-22 lead at the half Dunes pulled away and held a 10-point margin to end the third quarter 39-29.

Shemesy handed Artec of Aguinaldo Corcuerra its sixth straight defeat with a 93-72 triumph in their game.

Coach Cris Aborde’s Shemesy squad starring Reniel Ebora, Cris Mangibin, Rusty Rabe, Raul Optina and Benny Daguplo was in control the entire game.

Artec left the game still winless despite efforts from three-point specialists Rene Obejo and Kevin Bantola, who had 6 and 4 triples respectively, Edward Benito, Rolly Pascua and Florante Yancha.
