JEDDAH: All-Saudi team Brothers 4 Ever overcame a slow start to claim Team of the Week honors during the 11th session in the Faris Trading Monday Night Bowling League 16th Season at Jeddah Lanes in Mossadia Plaza here.

Brothers 4 Ever totaled 34 points, edging out Mottawer Engineering for the team award. Mottawer, which had 33 points, however, won the individual Bowler of the Week race courtesy of Atoi Cruz who shot the high series of 670 on lines of 256, 187 and 164.

Taurus RDLR ended up a distant third on 26 points followed by Jeddah Lanes 25, D’ Barkads 24 and Jem Strikers 22.

Boungaville Phils. took the seventh position on 17 with MC Hammer and Farisbowling.com tied on 15 points. Cee Bee Aviation brought up the rear on 9 points.

After a mere 4 points at seventh position in the first game Brothers picked up pace to win the next two games and return the top overall output of 3,153 for another first-place points of 10.

Saleh Sugate tossed in 655 at the helm of Brothers who received 640 from Saleh Fayez and Khalid Tailoni. Mohammed Garout and Ahmed Triganu shared the team’s remaining three games at 235-205 and 191.

Fahad Al Romaih posted a robust 661 to support Cruz at new league leader Mottawer, while the rest in the five-man rotation namely Nawaf Al Hariri, Faisal Fintayani and Abdullah Romaih contributed 585, 582 and 529.

Taurus got a big boost from the 627 by Hadi Pacheco and 603 by Edwin Ronquillo. James Galvan had 583, Danny Bautista 570, Larry Santos 161-172 and Nap Patayan 185.

Mao Orolfo and Andy Yumena led Jeddah Lanes with 658 and 605, while Nonie Yap came through with 592 to go with the 161-155 by Carlos Constantino and 206 by Rod Morales.

D’ Barkads had Rey Beltran hitting the top score of 621 with Dan Ednave on 574 and Bonnie Garcia on 548. Chipping in two games each were Leo Edejer 196-180, Darwin Genese 150-136 and Amro Al Amri 227-234.

Paolo Allego’s 621 showed the way at Jem Strikers who also netted 580 from Majid Aslani, 570 from Manny Laguardia, 547 from Efren San Pedro, 221-171 from Jeff San Pedro and 165 from Val Magsino.
