The 2nd Maskan Arabia Invitational Basketball Tournament ended recently with the an awarding and closing ceremony at Maskan Arabia Labor Camp court on the outskirts of Riyadh.

Leading the major awardees was tournament champion Absar. Cityscape received the first runner-up award, host Maskan the 2nd runner-up and Al Hammadi the 3rd runner-up. Mervin de Guzman of Absar was awarded with the Most Valuable Player trophy as well as the Best Point Guard plum.

Making up the mythical five selection were Maskan’s Gary Gallarde and Christian Vestal, Absar’s Mark Daren Sembrana and Harold Hangad and Ervin of Citiscape. Sembrana was also named Defensive Player of the tournament and Gallarde Best in 3 Points.

Present at the event were the top management of Maskan.

The program emceed by Edgar Ballentes started with an opening speech by Maskan Arabia VP Abdulelah Al Sheik. Tournament chairman Fahad Al Gafees, HR, Admn & Supporting Services manager, Maskan Arabia, and Engineering head Larri Barcelon presented the plaques of appreciation.

The individual awards presentors: Defensive Players Taj Mudjahirin, project manager, NP; Best Point Guard Anas Allaham, IT Manager, Maskan; Best in 3 points Ghassan Hamze, site manager, Maskan; Mythical 5 Kyprus Savva, site manager, Maskan; Most Valuable Player Taj, Mudjahirin, project manager, NP.

The team awards presentors: Champion Abdulelah Al Sheik; 1st runner Up Fahad Al Gafees, 2nd runner- up Nacim Djema, site manager, Maskan.
