RIYADH: CKK, Rawdah Heats and Kashmir Gymkahana scored comfortable wins in the Sikander Farooqui Memorial Cricket Tournament (Al Kharj Zone), sponsored by Saudi Cricket Center and organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association, recently.

Al Kharj Zone: CKK routed Saudi Jaguars by 79 runs. CKK scored 322. Najeeb 72, Sajid 68, Imran 53, Hisham 35 and Nadeem 26 were the main contributors. Jaguars were restricted to 243. Nabeel and Nadeem bowled well and grabbed 3 wickets each. Imran got 2 wickets.

In Riyadh Zone: Rawdah Heats batted first and managed 170 with contributions from Hassan 45, Pervaiz 28 and Shahbaz 21. Ashfaq and Waseem took 3 wickets each. Pak Fighters scored 148. Umar, Pervaiz and Hassan took one wicket each. Rawdah Heats won by 22 runs.

Kashmir Gymkhana scored 183. Mushtaq 38, Bilal 32 and Sabzar 26 were the main scorers. Dileep and Fenil took 2 wickets each. Strikers in reply were restricted to 130, thanks to disciplined bowling by Bilal, Sabzar and Shabbir who took 2 wickets each. Kashmir won by 53 runs.

TBCC beat Riyadh Royals by 48 runs. TBCC scored 164 for 6. Faisal 40, Lajeesh 28 and Khader 27 were the main contributors. Royals managed 116. Shameem and Salam picked 3 wickets each.

Pak Force took first strike and scored 159. Aman, Sharaf and Riyad took 2 wickets each. Tigers achieved the target off 17.4 overs. Ahmed Majeed 68 and Kamran 21 made the 6-wicket win possible.

Nouman Gymkhana beat Pak Eagles by 6 wickets. Pak Eagles totaled 163 runs. Mudassar, Afzal, Amjad and Shahzad captured 2 wickets each. Nouman Gymkhana achieved the target after 18 overs. Amjad 38, Afzal 43, Mudassar 30 and Shahzad 30 were among the runs.

In another match, Rawdah Heats beat Kingdom Warriors by 30 runs. Rawdah Heats scored mammoth 257. Shakeel 84, Abdurrahman 61 and Arbab 40 were the main run getters. Zeeshan and Imran grabbed two wickets each. Warriors managed 227. Adil scored 87 and Samir 53. Umar and Pervaiz took 2 wickets each.

In Qassim Zone:

Al-Fateh scored 216. Shahbaz 76 and Irfan 52 were top scorers. Waqar took 3 wickets while Khawar 2. Pak XI reached their target for the loss of 8 wickets. Waqar 69, Shabir 47 and Abdurrahman 34 were the main scorers. Faisal and Irfan took 2 wickets each. Sialkot Stallions beat Al-Douliya XI by 57 runs. Stallions scored 247. Ahmad played well for his 105. Mubashir supported him with 52. Yasser, Imran, and Butt shared 2 wickets. Al-Douliya were all out for 190 runs. Aatique hit 37 and Rizwan 23. Mudasir and Shani took 3 wickets each. Choudhary Stars beat Janbaz XI by 4 runs in a tight finish. Choudhary Stars scored 201. Tabassum 58, Zubair 28 and Sajid 25 were the main scorers. Nadeem got 3 and Tasaduq 2 wickets. Janbaz XI scored 197. Tasaduq 63 and Mubashir 40 did their best. Shahzad took 3 wickets. Paradise XI trounced Bangla Tigers by 181 runs. Paradise XI scored 257. Sajjad stop-scored with 60 runs. Bangla Tigers crashed for 76. Nouman did most of the damage and took 5 wickets.
