JEDDAH: The fifth season of Jeddah champions Trophy cricket tournament resumed matches after two weeks after Haj and Eid holidays.

The 40-team has already witnessed some nerve-wracking matches and is all set to provide a lot more as 50 matches are scheduled to be played before the final on 20 Nov.

The knockout stage is scheduled to start from 16 Oct. with 32 of the 40 participating teams making it to the play offs.

The outcome of the league stage of the tournament, which ends on 9 Oct. will determine the teams that will make it to the knockout stages based on points and net run rate.

The tournament is being organized by team Azizia Deccan and sponsored by Ford-Al Jazirah Vehicles and the co-sponsorship of TREVI ASC, MOA DIGITAL OUTDOOR MEDIA, Spice Sense & E-Lounge.
