JEDDAH: At least 20 coaches from all over Saudi Arabia took part in a four-day Level-I coaching course held under the development program of the Asian Cricket Council and organized by the Saudi Cricket Center.

This was the second Level-I course held in the city, conducted by Iqbal Sikander.

Sikander was supported by video analyst Asim. Tapas Chatopadhyaya the Level III coach was also present.

ACC provides different forms of educational courses in umpiring, coaching, curators etc, to its affiliated and associated countries of the Asian Cricket Council.

During the course the participants were subjected to theoretical and practical aspects of coaching.

The course was attended by: Hasanat Ahmed, Mohammed Iftikhar, Hassan Malik, Javed Ahmed, Jawwad Ahmed, Mohammed Mazhar Abbasi, Meer Yahya Ali, Iftikhar Ali (all Jeddah), Tariq Tanveer, Rizwan Qayyum (Dammam), Ahsan Ahmed, Imran Mohammed and Qureshi (Yanbua), Samiullah and Kamran Hadi (Riyadh), Shahid Shah and Arshad Raza (Madinah), Ahsan Riyaz (Abha), Liyaqat Ali (Jizan) and Rizwan Hashmi (Al Qasseem).
