D’ Cyclone 2 claimed a perfect Team of the Week and ladies Bowler of the Week double in an inspired start to the OFBC Friday Morning League Season 2 at the Ice Land Bowling Center.

Fourth place in the last OFBC morning league, D’ Cylone carded the maximum possible score of 28 points on its way to team honors, shutting out Pairs & Spares 20-0 and posting the top rank points of 8 with its total pinfalls of 2, 572.

American Garden drew the bye team but failed to cash in and settled for second best on 24 points. Though bowling pressure-free with an automatic 20 match points American Garden’s bid for Team of the Week honors had been weighed down by modest total pinfalls of 2,487 worth only 4 rank points.

RTJ Transient House brought down Mixed Shots 12-8 on total pinfalls of 2,549 and 2,543 while the match between TFSJ Pin Crusher and D’ Luf’s Strikers ended in a 10-10 draw on total pinfalls of 2,562 and 2,446.

RTJ finished the session on 18 total win points, TFSJ had 17 and Luf’s 13 in a tie with Mixe Shots.

Rico Parcon of TFSJ was the men’s Bowler of the Week after he shot the high series of 565 on scratch games of 120, 198 and 157.

Aisah Silabay paved the way for a Cyclone double with a 546 that gave her the Bowler of the Week award.

Captained by Fatima Jintarat, Cyclone used a single set of five players to build its total with the Langa trio of Bash, Tom and Thong Mujeed compiling 509, 505 a.m. 465. Robert Arman Gamboa rounded out the scoring on 547.

Pairs team was handicapped by one blind score with skipper Joey Calapatia putting the top score of 473 on board.

For American Garden the quartet of Jameel Gabrera, Gino Vallejos, Jimmy Mangindiado and Rosalie Vallejos rolled three-game series of 539, 527, 487 and 461 in that order, while Fred Cuenca had 169 and Louie Pacia 104-122.

RTJ likewise had four players going the distance — Kristhea Mae Busico 533, George Mangaliman 529, Lito delos Reyes 506, and Mar Lagan 475. Team captain Rudy ‘RJ’ Jamon contributed 156 and Malou Nidoy added 145-135.

In addition to Parcon the others that did well for TFSJ were Jhn Ejanda with 547 and veteran Fuly Primo with 505.

Mixed Shots got a big lift from the duo of Jojo Esperanzate and Vangie Lim who shot 535 and 513, while Carms Lim was the other bowler to complete three games at 458.

Over at Luf’s Farida De Guzman and Cesar Pagtalunan carded 526 and 510 to go with the 455 by Danny Francisco, 121-154 by Tirso Bambalan, 115-158 by Cromwell Marzo and 184-107 by Alexander Duma.
