RIYADH: Who will be crowned 2016 Match Play Club Champion of Dirab Golf & Country Club? At least 36 players will try their luck and tee it up in the first round of the Match Play Club Championship on Saturday.

The first round draw could still increase depending on the number of final entries with the pairings to be determined by draw before the 8 a.m. shot gun start.

There will be breakfast and lunch for the first round of the event open to Dirab individual members and corporate members only, with a handicap limit of 38 for men and 36 for ladies. Also, each player in the starting field will receive goody bag courtesy of the club.

The tournament is expected to take months to finish as the winners that advanced after the first round and thereafter are free to organize their matches according to their convenience. The target date for the final is middle of April.
