After last month’s Saudi National Day Open Golf Tournament 2014 team competition continues at Dirab Golf & Country Club when the Dirab-Riyadh Marriott Hotel Open Golf Tournament takes place on Friday.

This tournament with an 8 a.m. shotgun start is a 4-ball Texas Scramble format competition. The National Day Open was also Texas Scramble for two-man teams won by Anjum Mulla and Azman Mokhtar.

As of Wednesday registered players have crossed the 100 mark. They will each receive goody bag at the registration booth before the start of the tournament where prizes are on offer up to the 5th place.

Also, there will be gala dinner for tournament players and their guests at Riyadh Marriott Hotel.

This is the first time the hotel partnered with Dirab for this kind of event.

For his part, PGA golf professional Bouchaib El Jadiani, executive general manager of DGCC, added: “The golf course is set up in great condition after a lot of hard work done on the greens. I would like to thank Marriott hotel for its support not only of this tournament but in the promotion of golf in the Kingdom as well. I am sure this event will be a great success.
