Rookie team United Global mentored by Jeff Nierva burned the lanes to bag the Best Team of the Week award and its ace player Sam Dotingco completed a double by winning the the Best Bowler of the Week accolade during the 11th session in the Almarai-FBGR Sunday Bowling League 13th Conference at Universal Bowling Center (UBC) here

With Dotingco at the helm United shut out Alinma Bank 4-0 (26-9 points). Dotingco posted an the high series of 972 points on lines of 214, 208, 195 & 203 + 38 pins handicap and got the splendid support from Joelito Santillan 926, Clem Ojeda 827and Jeffrey Sobrebiga 612. Erwin Atienza added 610, Jeff Nierva 199 and Romy Repia 185.

Fareed Aquino led Alinma on 788 followed by Jess Ambon 756, Leo Mabunga 726 and Abdulrahman Ahmed 602. Romy Burgos contributed 508 while George Sto. Domingo had 373 points.

In another game, Nadec Stokers of Lope Ramirez beat FBGR Selection of Mike Ecalnir 23-14. Ruben Babasa led Strokers with 897 points with Atoi Ramos on 787, Jove Marano 768, Reynald Medina 664, Danny Nabong 647 and Lope Ramires 383. James Boyd paced the losing team on 828 followed by Jojo Miraflor 791, Mike Ecalnir 755, Emerson Mitra 748, Joel Lambo 390 and Benito Santos 381.

Alsalam Knights of Bandar Almarshad recorded a 21-16 victory against Thales of Ryan Iñigo. Knights was Rollie Cleofe 858, Efren Abuyo 794, Al-Marshad 792, Lito Vega 633 and Alfred Valencia 553 scored for Alsalam. Thales built its total from the efforts of Ramon Chua 852, Ismael Viloria 792, Nelson De Vera 770, Ryan Inigo 762, Cheng Lambo 495 and Nina De Vera 383.

Look Up Boys captained by Ronald Bautista whipped Almarai Co. of Jun Daniel 22-15. Art Yukong led the Boys with 863 points, and he was supported by Andro Tismo 812, Joe Garrido 794, Edwin Atienza 772, Armin Isles 424 and Erwin Nacario 381. Daniel led his team on 833 to go with the contributions of Joel Batolina 791, Fhel Ramos 771, Paul Decena 592 and Doy Del Moral 547.
